What does the wide band do?

It spreads the pressure over a larger area of the thigh than a narrow band. That way it lies more evenly and does not press as hard at any single point.

What do you need to know about the silicone strip?

It only grips on dry, grease-free skin. So you apply lotion or body oil only after putting the stockings on and leave out the area under the band.

Which sizes does the plus size cover?

It corresponds roughly to EU dress sizes 42 to 46. The elastane content gives the knit some stretch; what decides, though, is the thigh, because that is where the band has to sit flat all round without digging in.

Can you still clip them to suspenders?

Yes. Then put the clip into the lace band and not into the fine fabric below it, otherwise it pulls threads.

How do you put them on?

With rings off and nails smooth, gather the stocking down to the heel, slip your foot in and roll the fabric slowly upwards. You lay the band flat on your thigh last, without folding it over.

How do you wash them?

Most gently by hand in cool water, then dry flat. Leave out fabric softener so that the silicone keeps its grip.
