Does white stay white?

With a little care, yes. White hosiery picks up colour from dark shoes and from jeans. So do not wash them together with dark items, and wipe the inside of your shoes first.

Is white net more see-through than black?

Visually, yes: white stands out against the skin instead of darkening it. You see the pattern more clearly and the skin in between as well. If you prefer it more subtle, go for the black version.

What size are they?

They are cut as one size. Net gives a lot in width, whereas the length from waistband to crotch hardly stretches. On a very tall build the crotch therefore tends to pull down before anything gets tight in width.

What do you wear underneath?

Because the net is open, you wear briefs underneath unless the tights disappear under a skirt, shorts or a dress. Under white, light or nude briefs are the least noticeable.

How do you put them on without damaging them?

Rings off and nails checked, then gather each leg down to the toe, step in and roll the fabric up bit by bit.

What do you do when a stitch ladders?

A drop of clear nail varnish at the top and bottom end of the ladder stops it. In the fine net the spot stays small.

How are they washed?

Most gently by hand in cold water, otherwise in a laundry net on a delicate cycle, then dried flat. Leave out the dryer and fabric softener; both harm the fine yarn.
