In which order do you put the set on?

First the belt around the waist, then roll up the stockings and finally attach the clips at the front and back to the plain welt. Put the briefs on over the suspenders at the very end so you can take them off later without undoing anything.

How long should the suspenders be?

So that the straps are slightly taut when you stand and the stockings sit smoothly. You set the length with the sliders before closing the clips.
