What sets them apart from an ordinary tampon?

It is not a rolled cotton tampon but a soft sponge without a string. It adapts to the shape of the body, sits higher than a tampon with a retrieval cord and is taken out again by a loop with one or two fingers. That is exactly why it does not get in the way during sport, in the sauna, when swimming or during sex.

Can you have sex with it?

Yes, the design is made for it: no string in the way and a seat high up. Two things belong with that: a tampon is not contraception and no protection against infections, a condom is still needed for that. And it stays in, so it does not replace removal, it postpones it.

How long may it be worn?
