The Vulva Pump Scarlet by Crushious is a red rechargeable pump with a transparent suction cup and an oval opening. Inside the cup sits a vibrating tongue with two tips. Vacuum and vibration work together: you have ten vibration modes and 5+1 suction modes, which you select with three buttons on the handle. For a vacuum to build, the rim has to sit flush; a drop of water-based lubricant on the rim helps more than a higher setting. The suction cup can be removed, and then the tongue works on its own. The pump is waterproof and charges via a USB cable. Start on the lowest setting. For the duration what applies to any pump still applies: a few minutes at a time, then release. What does it feel like?

Like a pull that comes and goes, plus the vibration of the tongue inside the cup. The vacuum makes the skin more sensitive, and the tongue then works on exactly that spot.

Why does nothing happen sometimes?

Because the opening is not sitting flush. Without a seal no pressure builds. A drop of water-based lubricant on the rim solves it more often than a higher setting; the selection is under water-based lubricant.

Which setting do you start on?

The lowest. The effect is clear from the outset, and starting at the top tends to feel unpleasant rather than intense.

How is it cleaned?

With lukewarm water and a sex toy cleaner. Take the suction cup off and rinse it and the tongue thoroughly. Further models are under lay-on vibrators.
