This water-based lubricant by Aqua Quality comes in a tube with a flip-top cap. It stands on its cap, so the gel always sits at the opening. The gel is clear and contains water, glycerin, hydroxyethylcellulose, phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin; there are no fragrances or colourants. Because it is water-based, it washes off skin and toys easily with water after sex. Once opened, the tube keeps for twelve months, and the gel is made in Europe. Is it condom-safe?

Yes, it is suitable for condoms: water-based lubricant does not attack latex. Oil, petroleum jelly and greasy creams, on the other hand, can make latex condoms permeable. Suitable condoms are under condoms.

Does it suit silicone toys?

Yes. Water-based gel gets on with every toy material, including silicone, which can be attacked by silicone-based lubricants.

How much do you use?

Start with a small amount and spread it over the skin with a gentle massage; for a toy, put the gel straight onto the toy. Because a water-based gel soaks in over time, you top up as needed; often a few drops of water make it glide again too.

What do you need to watch out for when using it?

It is intended for external use and must not be swallowed. Do not apply it to irritated or broken skin. If you react sensitively, test a new gel on a small area first, for example the inside of the elbow.

How do you store it?

Tightly closed, cool and dry and out of the reach of children. Once the shelf life after opening has passed, throw away the rest and use a new tube.
