The Eau de Parfum Temptation by Burn is a women's fragrance from the Burn Woman range, filled in a trial and travel size and supplied with a snakeskin-look case for on the go. The bottle is slim, angular and clear, carries a black label with purple and white stripes and the silhouette of a woman's body, and is topped by a gold-coloured, knurled cap. The black case closes with a press stud, and a folding box in the same striped design comes with it. What is the difference from an eau de toilette?

The proportion of fragrance oil. An eau de parfum contains more of it, so it lasts longer on the skin and is more intense in the first hour, which is why you need less of it.

How much do you apply?

Two or three sprays are enough. Anyone still clearly smelling themselves after an hour has used too much for everyone else.

Why not rub it in?

Rubbing breaks the top note and makes the scent turn sooner. Spray it on from a little distance and let it dry by itself.

How is the bottle stored?

Dark and cool, not on the windowsill, because light and warmth are what really ruin a scent. The closed case also keeps light out.

What if you have sensitive skin?

Spray the scent on a small spot first, such as the crook of your elbow, and wait a day. If the skin reddens or stings, stop using it, and keep it off freshly shaved or irritated skin altogether.
