Brilly Glam is a small brand with a clear principle: every one of its nine toys can be operated by radio remote. Five vibrators, one rabbit, one lay-on vibrator, one cock ring and a pair of love balls – all black, all silicone.

Made for internal use are the Erik at 13.5 x 5 cm, the compact Ian at 8.2 x 3 cm and the Ryan. Built for two are the couples vibrator at 3.5 cm and the couples vibrator with pulse and vibration. What does a remote add?

Two things. On your own, you no longer have to fumble at the toy to change settings. With a partner, one person takes over the controls – that is the real appeal, especially with the two couples vibrators and the cock ring. How far the radio link reaches, and whether an app is included, is not recorded for every item in our data; check the product page for that.

What is medical-grade silicone?

Silicone at a purity intended for medical use – non-porous, odourless and well tolerated. Two items in this range are labelled that way, the Spot Vibe and the couples vibrator at 3.5 cm; the rest list “silicone” or “silicone with an ABS housing”. Which measurements are on file?

Seven of the nine items have them. The range runs from 8.2 cm on the Ian to 24 cm on the Möbius, with girths of 3 to 5 cm. The Alan cock ring lists 3 cm – that is the inner diameter and the only figure that matters. For the Ryan and the couples vibrator with pulse, no measurement is recorded.

Which lubricant belongs with them?

A water-based one. All nine items are silicone, and silicone lubricant attacks the surface – over time it turns tacky and dull. See water-based lubricants.

How are the toys cared for?

Warm water, mild soap or a toy cleaner, before and after every use, then leave them to dry completely. Electronics do not belong under running water unless the model is explicitly waterproof.
