Control is a Spanish brand whose centre of gravity is clearly the condoms: a good two thirds of the range. Around them sits a complete care line of lubricants and massage oils, plus a handful of toys.

What sets Control apart from many condom brands is the size span. There is not only “bigger” but also Slim Fit for a closer fit – and above it Adapta Nature XL, Finissimo XL and 2Xtra Large XXL.

🧴 Lubricants and massage oils

The care line is broader than you would expect from a condom brand. Among the lubricants there is the water-based Lub range in natural, tropical and chocolate and with a warming effect, plus Aquafeel with hyaluronic acid, Pure Comfort and Ice Feel. And – the exception – a silicone-based gel called Infinity, which lasts longer.

The massage oils come as 2-in-1 and 3-in-1: massage medium and lubricant in one, some of them edible. Scents range from Madagascar and Thai through almond hammam to chocolate and wild berries. One caveat: anything oil-based does not belong near a condom – more on that below.

❓ Frequently asked questions

Which lubricant can I use with condoms?

Water-based and silicone-based – both are latex-compatible. Control's own Infinity is therefore explicitly condom-safe. Oil is the only real enemy: massage oil, petroleum jelly and body lotion attack latex. That is exactly why the 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 massage oils are lovely for a massage but wrong for the moment a condom is involved.

What does “Finissimo” actually mean?

It is the thin-walled range – more sensation at the same level of safety. Every approved condom meets the same standard; a thin one is no less safe than a thick one. Finissimo also comes in XL.

I cannot tolerate latex – is there an alternative?

Yes, the “Free Sin Latex”. The name is Spanish and simply means “without latex”. It is made of a synthetic material rather than natural rubber and therefore works with a latex allergy.

What does a delay condom do?

There is a mildly numbing agent in the reservoir that dampens the sensitivity of the glans. The effect sets in after a few minutes. Bear in mind that the agent can transfer to a partner once the condom comes off.

What is the difference between Slim Fit and XL?

Both describe the nominal width, that is the width of the condom lying flat – not the length. If a standard condom slips, take Slim Fit; if it pinches or makes the erection fade, move up to XL or XXL. A condom that tears was usually too small, not too thin.
