🔋 Rechargeable instead of disposable

A rechargeable model delivers steady power right to the end, while batteries get noticeably weaker towards the finish. Charge the plug fully once before first use and then top it up every few months, even if you have not used it in between – deeply discharged batteries age faster.

🤍 Why silicone on an anal plug

Silicone is non-porous and takes on body heat quickly. Anally that is a noticeable advantage: a cold, hard toy creates counter-tension, while a body-warm soft one is accepted far more easily. Silicone can also be cleaned completely, which here is no minor point.

📏 12 cm – how much of that goes in?

With a plug the overall length is not the inserted length. The base stays outside and the neck sits at the sphincter; what goes in is the bulbous part in front of it. What counts is therefore the diameter at the thickest point, not the figure on the packaging.

Which lubricant do I need?

Water-based only – silicone oil attacks silicone. For anal use take a thick product from the anal and fisting lubricant range and apply generously, inside and out.

How do I insert it?

Relaxed, lying on your side or squatting, with pressure from outside rather than pushing. Wait until the sphincter gives way. The sequence is described in our guide to anal plugs from beginner to expert.

What does the vibration add to a plug?

It works inwards, where pressure alone does not reach – towards the prostate in men, towards the back wall in women. That is why a vibrating plug is more than a plug with an extra function; it sets a different kind of stimulus. Comparable models are under prostate vibrators.

How long can I wear it?

15 to 20 minutes to start with, longer if it is switched off. Pulling it out is a slow business, at the same calm pace as putting it in. A slight pulling sensation afterwards is normal; pain the following day is not.

How do I clean it?

Before and after every use with warm water and a toy cleaner. Keep the charging port out of the water unless the manufacturer says otherwise. Let it dry completely afterwards and store it on its own.

Do I need an anal douche first?

Can I wear it during sex?

Yes, that is one of the most common uses. The pressure from inside is noticeable for both sides. Just make sure the base stays clear on the outside and does not get pressed in by a position.

Does the vibration have to run the whole time?

No. Many people wear a vibrating plug mostly switched off and only turn it on at moments. It works as a plug without the motor – the vibration is a bonus, not a requirement.

Why does it sometimes slip out?

Because the sphincter is working. If a plug does not hold, either the neck is too slim for you or the lubricant is too runny. Both can be fixed; more pressure does not help.
