Icicles – 21 handmade glass toys 💎

Icicles makes glass and nothing else: twelve dildos and nine butt plugs, twenty of them in plain glass, one with a silicone suction cup. The models carry numbers instead of names, and every single one has a complete measurement on file – that is rare.

Twelve glass dildos 🧊

The range runs from the short No. 75 at 7.9 x 3.4 cm via the No. 24 at 11.5 x 3.8 cm, the No. 55 at 13 x 3 cm, the No. 57 at 13 x 3.5 cm and the two identically sized No. 43 and No. 62 at 14.5 x 3.5 cm each, up to the No. 07 at 15 x 2.7 cm, No. 05 at 17 x 3.5 cm, No. 29 at 17 x 3 cm and No. 08 at 17.8 x 3.8 cm. The longest piece is the beaded dildo at 22 x 2.5 cm, the only one with a suction cup is the No. 86 at 15.5 x 3 cm – see glass and ceramic dildos.

Nine glass butt plugs 🍑

Made for getting started are the No. 44 at 6.5 x 2.5 cm, the No. 48 at 6.5 x 3 cm and the two identically sized No. 78 and No. 79. Somewhat sturdier are the No. 25 at 7.5 x 4.5 cm, the No. 66 at 9 x 2 cm and the No. 26 at 10 x 3.8 cm. The thickest is the No. 47 at 7 cm in diameter, the longest the No. 38 at 17 cm – see anal plugs.

How robust is glass really?

Borosilicate glass takes considerably more than drinking glass and is made for this purpose – unbreakable it is not. Check every piece with your fingers before use for chips or cracks; a damaged item belongs in the bin, not back in play. Dropping it on tiles is not advisable.

What do temperature games do?

Glass takes on temperature and holds it for a while – that is the actual appeal. A few minutes in warm water or in the fridge is enough. Never in the freezer, never in boiling water, and always test it on the inside of your wrist first. The temperature difference should be noticeable, not painful.

Which lubricant suits glass?

Any of them. Glass is non-porous and reacts to neither water- nor silicone-based gels – that is the practical advantage over silicone toys. Water-based remains the simpler choice, because it washes off without residue. More in the article on sex toy materials compared.

Which size suits a beginner?

With anal play the diameter counts for more than the length. The slimmest plugs sit at 2 to 2.5 cm; the No. 47 at 7 cm is expressly not for getting started. Begin small, use plenty of lubricant and take your time – see water-based lubricant.

How is it cleaned?

Warm water with mild soap or a toy cleaner is entirely enough; glass is non-porous, nothing stays in the surface.
