Plug & Play – four anal plugs for working up 🍑

The size series 📏

In what order do you build up?
By diameter, not by length. From 2.5 to 3.3 and then to 4.1 cm those are manageable steps you can take weeks over. The split plug at 6.3 cm, by contrast, is not a next step but a jump – an intermediate size is missing from this collection. More in the anal plug guide.
How much lubricant does it take?
More than you think. The rectum produces no moisture of its own, so with anal play lubricant is not a convenience but a precondition. Water-based when condoms or silicone are involved; top up along the way instead of using everything at the start. See water-based lubricant and anal lubricant.
What are the plugs made of?
Three in rubber, one in silicone. Rubber is soft and yielding but not non-porous – when it is shared, a condom belongs over the toy. Silicone is non-porous and therefore hygienically the simpler choice. More in the article sex toy materials compared.
What do you have to watch out for?
A wide base. Anything inserted anally needs a flange that prevents it from disappearing entirely – without one a toy becomes a trip to A&E. And pace: pain is not a sign of progress but a signal to stop.
How is it cared for?
Warm water with mild soap or a toy cleaner before and after every use, then dry completely. Rubber and silicone are stored apart, because soft materials otherwise attack each other and stick together. See sex toy cleaner.
