👚 Queen Lingerie – hanger for lingerie

From Queen Lingerie we currently carry one item: the hanger for lingerie at 27.5 cm long, as a single unit. The lingerie to go with it is under lingerie for women.

📐 Why 27.5 cm is the right length

A normal hanger is built for shoulder width and is therefore too big for lingerie: straps slip off, lace gets stretched over the ends and goes slack. A narrow hanger holds fine fabric where it belongs without stretching it.

👗 What may hang and what may not

Bodysuits, negligees and dresses hang well. Anything heavy or hanging from thin straps belongs flat in a drawer instead – thin straps give way under their own weight, and that is exactly where fine fabric tears first. A babydoll survives a year on a hanger, a lace bra rarely does.

Why lingerie does not belong in the laundry pile

Because pressure from above has the same effect as stretching: underwires deform, cups crease, lace picks up folds that never come out again. What has shape should keep its shape – hanging or lying loosely side by side, not stacked.

How much space does lingerie need?

More than you think, and less than you fear. Fine fabric needs air between the pieces, otherwise lace hooks into lace and pulls threads. Two centimetres between hangers is already enough.

What does light do to lingerie?

It bleaches. Black turns grey over the years, red goes dull, and with white every yellow cast shows immediately. A closed wardrobe is therefore not only more discreet but keeps the colours longer.

How do I wash delicates properly?

By hand in lukewarm water with a delicates detergent, or in a mesh bag on a gentle cycle. Do not wring, do not tumble dry, no fabric softener. Lay flat to dry – hung up, wet fine fabric stretches under its own weight.

What else belongs to keeping order?

A mesh bag for the machine, a shelf or drawer for delicates only, and enough space between the pieces. More accessories are under accessories.

Who is a hanger like this worth it for?

For anyone who owns more than one or two good pieces. With lingerie the purchase price is often higher than with everyday underwear – care and storage then decide how long you get something out of it. What matters when buying is described in our article on lingerie in the erotic shop; the full selection is under lingerie.

What do I do about pulled threads?

Draw them back carefully from the inside, never cut them off – a cut loop runs further. Rings and watches come off when dressing and undressing; that prevents most cases in the first place.

How do I store stockings?

Rolled rather than folded, and separately from anything with hooks, zips or velcro. Sheer stockings snag on practically everything, and a single contact is enough for a ladder.

Do you need a separate wardrobe for it?

No, a shelf is enough. What matters is only that delicates do not sit in the same box as everyday laundry – jeans buttons and bra underwires do more damage there than any amount of wearing.

How is it delivered?

Neutrally and discreetly. We ship in an unprinted box with no reference to the contents, and the sender details give nothing away either. Within Germany we deliver free of shipping costs, with no minimum order value.
