Tentacion – ten flavoured lubricants and eight pheromone perfumes 🍫

Tentacion is taken for a flavoured-lubricant brand, but that is only two thirds of the truth: of the 24 items, eight are perfumes with pheromones – a product area of its own that has nothing to do with lubricant. Add four stimulating gels and a massage oil.

Five flavours, two sizes 🍓

The flavoured water-based gels come in 75 ml – passion fruit, red fruits, chocolate, coconut milk and candy. Four of them also come as a 7 ml single dose: passion fruit, red fruits, chocolate and coconut milk – only candy is missing in the small size. Comparable items under flavoured lubricant.

Eight perfumes with pheromones 🌸

The perfumes come in two series. The Pheromone Elixir at 7 ml comes for her, for him, in a gay and a lesbian version. The Synthetic Pheromones series at 30 ml covers the same four groups – as hetero, for her, as gay and as lesbian.

Five gels that are not lubricants 💧

Then there is the stimulating lubricant for her as a single dose at 10 ml.

What about the silicone lubricant?

One item falls outside the pattern: the Silky lubricant at 50 ml is silicone-based, not water-based. That matters, because silicone-based lubricant attacks silicone toys – with silicone toys you want water-based lubricant. For sex without a toy, silicone gel lasts longer and is waterproof; more of it under silicone lubricant.

What are flavoured lubricants good for?

Oral sex, because they cover the taste of lubricant. They are water-based and therefore compatible with condoms and every toy material. One point you rarely read: flavoured gels often contain sugar or a sugar substitute. In the vagina that can upset the flora – they are meant for oral use, not as a permanent solution for penetration. More in our lubricant guide.

Do pheromone perfumes work?

Honestly: evidence for an effect in humans is disputed, and we have no data that would say otherwise. What a perfume certainly does is smell – and a scent you like works on your own confidence. Take it as a perfume, not as an active ingredient.

What is the difference between the gay, lesbian and hetero versions?

That does not follow from the product data. Presumably it is about the scent direction and who it is meant to appeal to. If a particular scent matters more to you than the label, decide by the description on the product page.

How do I test whether I tolerate it?

Apply one drop to an unproblematic patch of skin, for example the crook of your arm, and wait a few hours. If you get redness, burning or itching, wash it off and stop using it. That goes double for the gels with a cooling or warming effect – they react far more strongly on mucous membrane than on your arm. More under intimate care and in our drugstore.

How is it delivered?

Neutrally and discreetly. Your order ships in a plain box with no reference to the contents, and the sender name gives nothing away either. Within Germany we deliver free of charge, with no minimum order value.
