🔋 Rechargeable instead of disposable

A rechargeable model saves you hunting for the right batteries and delivers steady power right to the end – batteries get noticeably weaker towards the finish. Charge the vibrator fully once before first use and then top it up every few months, even if you have not used it in between. Deeply discharged batteries age faster.

🤍 Why silicone

Silicone is non-porous, tasteless and takes on body heat quickly. After a short while it feels warm rather than foreign, it is easy to keep clean and with proper care it barely ages. For beginners it is the most straightforward material there is – which is why you find it so often in the sex toys for beginners as well.

Which lubricant works with silicone?

Only water-based lubricant. Silicone oil attacks silicone surfaces and makes them sticky and dull over time. That damage cannot be undone.

How do I clean the vibrator?

Before and after every use, with warm water and a toy cleaner. Take care not to hold the charging port under water unless the manufacturer explicitly lists the model as waterproof. Let it dry completely afterwards.

How should I store it?

Dry, dust-free and on its own – ideally in a pouch or case. Silicone items should not rest permanently against each other or against soft plastics, because the surfaces can otherwise stick together.

Is this a model for beginners?

Yes. A classic silicone vibrator with a rechargeable battery is the most straightforward start there is: switch on, choose an intensity, go. If you prefer things especially gentle, more models are listed under gentle sex toys.

Internal or external use?

Both are possible. Many people begin externally at the clitoris, because that needs the least preparation, and only try internal use afterwards. Plenty of lubricant makes the difference in either case.

How loud is a vibrator like this?

Small motors are rarely completely silent, and the volume rises with the intensity. Under a duvet or with quiet music in the background the sound practically disappears.

Pink or purple – any difference?

How long does a charge last?

That depends heavily on the intensity you choose – on the highest setting the battery runs down considerably faster than on the lowest. Before a planned evening, charge it fully once rather than having to top it up in the moment.

What if nothing happens?

Usually it is not the toy. Vibration alone rarely works at the push of a button – time, arousal and a relaxed setting count for more than the setting does. Start externally at low intensity and build up slowly instead of going straight to the strongest level.

What about travelling?
