How do you lie down on it?

Slowly, so your weight spreads over many spikes. Sit on the mat first and then roll back onto it bit by bit. On a bed or a blanket the spikes press more gently than on a hard floor, and a thin shirt takes a little more of the sharpness out.

What is the pillow for?

For the neck. The flat underside keeps it in place, and the curved top sits in the hollow between head and shoulders. You can just as well use the mat without the pillow and rest your head flat.

When does the mat stay in its bag?

When your skin is injured. Do not lie on it with open spots or fresh scratches, because the spikes press right into them.

How do you clean mat and pillow?

With a damp cloth. Wipe fabric and discs and let both dry in the open before you roll the mat up. They do not go in the washing machine, because the discs are firmly joined to the fabric.

How do you store it?

Rolled up in the bag. Roll the mat up with the discs facing inwards, slide it into the bag and pull the cord tight. That way the spikes lie protected and do not catch on anything.
