A shower attachment instead of a bulb: model 3 by Addicted Toys screws onto the shower hose with its universal thread, so you do not need a pump. The nozzle is shaped in two soft waves and ends in a rounded head. It is made of very soft silicone, the thread of PVC. Because the mains delivers pressure that you cannot meter as finely as with a bulb, one more rule applies here: turn the water on slowly and never fully. Set the temperature to lukewarm on your hand beforehand, because what feels pleasant on your back is too hot inside. The douche rinses out the last section of the bowel, no more. Use lukewarm water without soap or additives, do one or two short rounds and not every day, otherwise you irritate the mucous membrane. Put lubricant on the tip, insert it a few centimetres and without force, and empty over the toilet afterwards. If you feel pain or see blood, stop and take a few days off. What water goes in?

Lukewarm tap water, nothing else. Soap, salt and shower gel irritate the mucous membrane; water that is too hot or too cold does too. It should feel tepid, not warm.

How often can you do this?

Not as a daily habit. Regular rinsing washes away the natural protective layer as well. Before the occasion yes, on principle no.

How long beforehand?

Half an hour to an hour. Water can still run out right afterwards. Plan for that time and you stay relaxed.

How is it cleaned?

Unscrew it from the shower hose, rinse it through with warm water and clean it with a mild sex toy cleaner, then let it dry completely, inside and in the thread too.
