The Anal Plug Plain by Addicted Toys is a classic plug with no ridges and no nubs. The smooth, glossy TPR shaft starts with a rounded tip and widens slightly and evenly along its whole length. At the bottom comes a short, narrow neck where the sphincter closes, and below it a round, wide base, bell-shaped with a flat underside on which the plug stands upright. The TPR gives a little under pressure, is phthalate-free and odourless, and the surface is not sticky. Because of its length it is more for anyone who already has some experience with plugs. Why does an anal toy need a base?

Because the sphincter pulls inward whatever it can grip, and the rectum has no natural limit. The base stays outside and prevents exactly that. A toy without a base does not belong in anal use.

Which lubricant fits?

A water-based one, and plenty of it, because nothing gets wet by itself anally. Oil and silicone gel attack soft TPR. The selection is under water-based lubricant, thicker ones under anal and fisting lubricant.

How do you start?

With time and in a relaxed position. The sphincter opens by itself when given the chance; pushing achieves the opposite. If it hurts, stop rather than push through.

How is it cleaned?

What should I look out for with TPR?

TPR is a thermoplastic and not quite as dense as silicone. If you share the plug, put a condom over it. Store it on its own and out of sunlight so the surface does not react with other toys.

How do I take it out?

Slowly and by the base, ideally while breathing out. Pulling sharply is uncomfortable, especially at the widest point; a slight twist helps more.
