The Red Boy by Doc Johnson is an anal plug made of red PVC in the medium version: a slim, smooth cone with a rounded tip, below it a short neck and a wide, flat base. It is firm and holds its shape, and the surface is glossy. From the tip the cone widens evenly, reaches its thickest point in the lower third and then narrows to the neck. The base is elongated with rounded ends. PVC is porous: the surface has fine pores that cannot be got completely germ-free. So it is shared only with a condom. Why does an anal toy need a base?

Because the sphincter pulls inward whatever it can grip, and the rectum has no natural limit. The base stays outside and prevents exactly that. A toy without a base is not used anally.

Which lubricant fits?
