What water goes in?

Lukewarm tap water, nothing else. Soap, salt, shower gel and other additives irritate the mucous membrane, and so does water that is too hot or too cold. Check the temperature on your hand beforehand: it should feel tepid, not warm, because what feels pleasant outside is quickly too warm inside.

Does the bulb have to be full?

No. One or two fillings per session are enough, not six, and you can also fill the bulb only partly.

How is the nozzle inserted?

With lubricant on the tip, slowly and without force, ideally squatting or lying on your side. Keep the bulb squeezed while you pull the nozzle out, otherwise it sucks the water back in. Empty over the toilet.

How often can you do this?

Not as a daily habit. Rinsing too often strips the mucous membrane of its natural protective layer: it dries out, becomes sensitive and tears more easily. Before the occasion yes, on principle no.

How long beforehand?

Half an hour to an hour. Water can still run out right afterwards, and planning for that time spares the unease.

How is it cleaned?

Bulb and nozzle thoroughly with warm water and a mild sex toy cleaner, then left to dry completely, inside too.
