What are flutter sleeves?

Short, set-in sleeves that fall loosely over the shoulder and do not fit tightly all round. On the Evelyn they cover the top of the upper arms, with narrow straps running underneath.

How is the midriff designed?

A narrow band runs under the cups. From there V-shaped seams run across the tulle down to the crotch, and lace returns at the high-cut leg openings.

Where does the red appear?

In two places: in the small bow and as a fine edge on the band under the cups. Otherwise the body is black throughout, so both details catch the eye together on the neckline.

How much does the body show?

A lot. Only the lace on the cups, sleeves and leg openings has a denser pattern; in between, the tulle lets the skin show clearly from the neckline to the crotch.

How does it fit?

Closely and softly. Polyamide with ten per cent elastane stretches with you and lies smoothly against the body.

What does the body go with?

On its own it is lingerie for an evening for two. Under an open blouse or cardigan the lace cups, flutter sleeves and red bow peek out, while the tulle below stays hidden.

How do you care for it?

Most gently by hand in cool water with a little mild detergent. Afterwards just press it out softly instead of wringing it, and let it dry lying flat so the lace on the sleeves and legs keeps its shape.
