A shape that splits into two halves: the Mushroom Head dildo by All Black carries a broad, dome-shaped tip with a clearly stepped ridge on top and below it a shaft with coarse lengthwise grooves. The ridge is the real point: it catches briefly as you pull back instead of simply gliding through. The grooved shaft stays almost the same thickness, so hardly any girth arrives after the head. The height is build height and reserve; usually considerably less is used. A flat, broad foot closes it off at the bottom, serving as a stop and letting the dildo stand upright. Where is the hardest point?

Right at the start, because the head is the widest part. Once the ridge has passed, the rest almost follows by itself, since the shaft below adds hardly any girth. If it stalls there, more lubricant and a pause help, not more pressure. Warmth does the rest.

What do the lengthwise grooves achieve?

They give the shaft grip and a tangible contour but set no steps on a straight way in and out. Their effect unfolds when you turn the dildo slightly; the grooves then pass the same spot one after another and give the movement a rhythm of its own.

Do I have to use the full length?

No. With this design the head decides, not the length; the rest stays outside and gives the hand something to guide with. The flat foot shows you how much is still outside. More on that in the guide to extra-long dildos.

How do I care for it?

Work thoroughly under the head ridge and in the grooves with warm water and toy cleaner, as that is where most settles. Dry it completely afterwards and store it on its own, because porous TPR takes on odours. Use water-based anal lubricant only.
