Who should not use electro-stimulation?

People with a pacemaker, implants or a heart condition, with epilepsy and in the time before and after giving birth. That limit is not a precautionary phrase but the reason the device is not used, not briefly and not quietly either.

Where may the electrodes sit?

Below the waist, and both electrodes on the same side of the body or close together. The current must never flow across the chest, so never one electrode above and one below. Head, neck and heart are off limits.

How do you start?

On the lowest setting, with the electrodes placed and the device off. Switch on first, then turn up slowly. Move them only when switched off, because changing electrodes under current is unpleasant and unnecessary.

How is the cable connected?

The single angled plug goes into the ElectraStim control unit, the two pin plugs into the two sockets at the base of a toy or into two electrodes. The pins are bare metal and the grips behind them are ribbed so they are easy to hold. Pull by the grip, never by the cable.
