The ElectraPads by ElectraStim are four elongated white adhesive electrodes with lead wires: the shape for places that are narrow and long, along the perineum or the inner thighs for instance. A long area spreads the current over a stretch rather than putting it on one point. Two pads form a circuit and belong close together, below the waist. They only work with a suitable electro-stimulation control unit, which is not included. Electro-stimulation does not feel like vibration but like a pull coming from the muscle itself: the current triggers the contraction rather than irritating the skin. Before anything is switched on, three rules apply without exception: current stays below the waist, it never flows across the chest, and anyone with a pacemaker, an implant or a heart condition does not use a device like this, not even on a low setting.
