The Electro Gel Aqua by ElectraStim is a conductive water-based gel in a tube. It goes between skin and electrode, because without gel an electrode transmits at a point, and at a point it feels like stinging. With gel the transmission spreads over an area. If the device seems too weak, there is often simply too little gel. Electro-stimulation does not feel like vibration but like a pull coming from the muscle itself: the current triggers the contraction rather than irritating the skin. Where may the electrodes sit?

How do I start?
