The Nona by ElectraStim is a curved stimulator made of black silicone with a ridged tip and a flat, wide base. The curve aims it at the G-zone, the spot a few centimetres inside towards the belly. The compact length is entirely enough for that. The shaft is slim at the base and grows fuller towards the head, and the ridges run across the head. The conductive area is the flank of the shaft up into the head. It only works with a suitable electro-stimulation control unit, which is not included. Electro-stimulation does not feel like vibration but like a pull coming from the muscle itself: the current triggers the contraction rather than irritating the skin. Who should not use electro-stimulation?

People with a pacemaker, implants or a heart condition, with epilepsy and in the time before and after giving birth. That limit is not a precautionary phrase but the reason the device is then not used, not briefly and not on a low setting either.

Where may the electrodes sit?

Below the waist, and both electrodes on the same side of the body or close together. The current must never flow across the chest, so never one electrode above and one below. Head, neck and heart are off limits.

How do I start?

Insert it with plenty of lubricant, connect it with the device switched off and only then switch on at the lowest setting. From there you turn it up slowly. Only remove or reposition it when switched off, because moving it under current is unpleasant and unnecessary.

Which lubricant belongs with it?
