The Intimate Hygiene Mousse from Femintimate is a cleansing foam for the outer intimate area. The pump head under the clear cap dispenses it directly as ready-made foam, so you do not have to work up a lather and can manage with one hand. It is pH balanced. The PET bottle is white with a pink band and the Femintimate logo and belongs to the same line as the brand’s Clarifying Cream, intimate exfoliant and lubricant. The foam is meant for the outside only and does not go into the vagina; inside, no wash is needed. As a general rule for the intimate area: mild and seldom rather than strong and often. How do you use it?

Put one or two pumps of foam into your hand, spread it gently on damp skin and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Afterwards pat the skin dry rather than rubbing.

What does pH balanced mean?

That its pH is closer to that of the skin than ordinary soap, which is clearly more alkaline. There is no more to the term than that.

How often do you use it?

Once a day in the shower is enough. Washing more often tends to dry the skin out, and on days without a shower plain water will do.

How do you test whether it suits you?

Before the first use, try a little foam in the crook of your arm, rinse it off and wait a day. If the skin stays calm, you can use it in the intimate area; if it reddens, leave it out.

Is it suitable after sex?

Yes, it is handy for washing off lubricant and body fluids on the outside, because the foam is ready straight away. Silicone-based lubricant hardly comes off with water alone; for that you need a little more foam and a thorough rinse.

How do you store it?

Upright, with the cap on and out of direct sunlight; that keeps the pump head clean and clear. Once opened, the shelf-life marking on the bottle applies.
