What does “thumping” mean?

Inside each ball lies a smaller, loose ball. It knocks against the wall of the outer one at every movement, hence the name. There is no motor in it; the movement comes from walking, from sitting and from rocking the pelvis.

Which piece do I use first?

The single ball. It is the shortest piece and the easiest to insert. The two double balls are longer and bring two balls one behind the other; the larger one is also a little thicker. Only switch once the smaller piece feels comfortable.

How do I insert them and take them out?

A little lubricant helps with inserting, and it should be a water-based one from water-based lubricant; silicone lubricant attacks the surface, and too much of it makes the balls slippery. Push the piece in far enough for it to sit comfortably, with the loop staying outside. To take it out, pull slowly on the loop. Love balls are made for the vagina only and are never used anally, because without a flared base they can slip inwards in the bottom.

How long can I wear them?

As long as it feels good. A few minutes at home are enough to begin with; take the piece out as soon as anything presses, pulls or burns.

When should you not use them?

During your period, with an infection or irritation in the intimate area, in the first weeks after giving birth and after surgery in the pelvis. If you have a coil fitted or are unsure, ask your gynaecologist first.

How are they cleaned?

With lukewarm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner from sex toy cleaner, before and after every use and always including the loop. Then let them dry and store the three pieces separately.
