The Push-up Pads to Insert by Bye Bra are a pair of oval, fabric-covered inserts with an overlocked edge that keeps them from fraying. They taper to a point at both ends and are curved like a shell, with a smooth cover. You place them in the cups of your bra, ideally at the lower outer edge: from there they push the bust upward and towards the centre. They sit most securely in a bra with pockets for inserts; without a pocket they can slip under thin fabric. They sit under for the top, under lingerie for women and in our lingerie section.

How much does an insert achieve?

Nothing is added. How much difference shows depends on the starting point and on the cut of the bra.

Which way round does the pad go in?

With the hollow inner side towards the breast and the curved outer side against the bra cup. There is no left or right pad: both are symmetrical and fit either cup. Placed centrally under the breast, a pad pushes forward instead of up.

Which cup size are they for?

For bras with cup C or D. In a smaller cup they have too little room and push the fabric outwards.

How are they cleaned?

By hand with warm water and mild soap, then air dried. Do not wring them, just press them gently, and keep them out of the machine and off the radiator.

Can I wear just one pad?

Yes. If one side is a little smaller, a single pad on that side can give a more even look.

How do you store them?

Nested inside each other in a drawer or together with the bra you wear them in. That way they keep their curve and are not squashed flat.
