The price for it is on the other side: silicone and silicone toys do not get on - the oil in the gel attacks the surface and makes it dull and tacky over time. That does not apply to glass, metal and ceramic; it always applies to silicone toys. You also need considerably less than you are used to from water gels: a few drops cover a whole session, and topping up mostly creates laundry. Water alone does not take it off again, that needs soap. One hundred millilitres therefore last a very long time. Why not with silicone toys?

Because like attacks like. The silicone oil softens the surface of a silicone toy; it does not break straight away, but goes dull and tacky. For glass, metal and ceramic the gel is harmless.

Does it come out of laundry?

Only with soap or detergent, water alone is not enough. Anyone who wants to spare the sheet puts a towel underneath - the usual route with silicone gels.

Why does it last longer than a water gel?

How much do you need?
