How does it differ from the bra extender?

In the material. The extender is made of webbing in black or white, this one of clear band. Under sheer or very light fabric that is the difference.

How far down does it pull the fastening?

Steplessly adjustable via the buckle, to well below the waist. For the usual back necklines the length has reserve.

Does the bra still hold afterwards?

Yes, better than you would think: the lower band pulls the cups down and stabilises them. What it cannot do is make a bra that is too loose fit tightly.

How is it cleaned?

Wipe with lukewarm water and mild soap, air-dry. No iron, no tumble dryer.
