Aqua Travel is a flavoured water-based lubricant. Four flavours each come as a 6 ml portion and a 50 ml bottle – eight items, but really four decisions.

Wild raspberry comes in 6 ml and 50 ml, tropical fruits in 6 ml and 50 ml, strawberry cream in 6 ml and 50 ml and lollipop in 6 ml and 50 ml – see flavoured lubricant and water-based lubricants.

What is the 6 ml portion for?

Trying out, and travelling. A flavour that sounds good on the shelf can turn out too sweet in use – for 6 ml you find that out without leaving half a bottle behind. The small format is also handy in a bag or a wash kit.

Is it compatible with toys and condoms?

Yes. Water-based gels attack neither silicone nor latex – they are the only base that works with everything. Unlike oil-based lubricants, they leave condom protection intact. Toys are under vibrators and dildos.

Why does the gel turn tacky after a while?

Because the water evaporates. That is normal for water-based gels and not a fault: a few drops of water or a little saliva make it slippery again at once. If you would rather not top up at all, reach for a silicone lubricant – but that does not belong on silicone toys.

Is the gel meant to be eaten?

Flavoured gels are made for licking, but they are not food. During oral sex that is exactly their point: the taste makes it more pleasant. They should still not be swallowed in any quantity. More in our article on flavoured lubricant.

What should you watch out for with sweet gels?

Sugar or sugar substitutes can upset the vaginal flora in people who are prone to it. If that applies to you, use flavoured gel externally and for oral sex and reach for a neutral gel for anything internal. Residue washes off with clear water and leaves nothing behind.
