The four models 💫

What are bullet vibrators for?
Above all for the outside. At 1.8 cm across they are too slim to do much inside – their strength is pinpoint stimulation of the clitoris or other sensitive spots. That is exactly why they are popular for a first toy: small, quiet and usable without insertion. More in the guide to vibrators.
One setting or ten?
Ten settings sound like more, but few people use more than two or three of them regularly. What matters more than the number of programmes is whether the lowest setting can be dialled in finely enough – anyone who reacts sensitively is better served by an adjustable model than by one that only knows full power.
What are they made of?

What should you watch when inserting one?
If a bullet is inserted at all, then only vaginally and only with a retrieval cord. Anally, bullets have no place: without a wide base there is nothing to stop one disappearing entirely. Water-based lubricant makes insertion more comfortable. See water-based lubricant.
How is it cared for?
Warm water with mild soap or a toy cleaner after every use, then dry completely. On models with a battery compartment take the batteries out before cleaning and keep the compartment dry; rechargeable models need power now and then even during longer breaks. See sex toy cleaner.
