What does a warming function do?
It brings the toy to roughly body temperature instead of putting it on cold. The difference is smaller than the advertising usually promises, but noticeable on insertion – especially on the anal side, where a cold toy tends to make the sphincter clench. Heating up takes a minute or two depending on the model.
Which model suits a beginner?
The Reinheit at 3.6 cm diameter and 10.6 cm length is the most compact of the three vibrators. Posh and Opulent sit well above that at around 20 cm, but at 3.5 cm they are hardly thicker – so the difference is in the length, not the girth. More in the guide to vibrators.
What are the toys made of?
Three combine silicone with ABS plastic; on the anal plug the data says medical-grade silicone. That build is the usual one: silicone for the part that is inserted, ABS for handle, buttons and motor housing. Silicone is non-porous and therefore the hygienically simplest choice. Which lubricant fits?
A water-based one. Silicone-based gel attacks silicone surfaces and makes them sticky over time – so for all four articles it is the wrong choice. See water-based lubricant.
How is it cared for?
Warm water with mild soap or a toy cleaner before and after every use, then dry completely. On models with a warming function and a rechargeable battery the charging port stays dry and does not go under water, even when the toy is declared waterproof. See sex toy cleaner.
