ID Millennium – one lubricant in five sizes 💧

ID Millennium is not a product family but a single silicone lubricant in five bottle sizes. People who know it buy it for one property: it does not dry out. A drop stays slippery for as long as it is needed, and water does not wash it away.

The five sizes 📏

What is the difference from a water-based gel?

Silicone does not evaporate. A water-based gel turns tacky after a few minutes and needs a splash of water or a top-up – silicone gel stays as it is. In return it is not compatible with everything: it does not belong on silicone toys, because it attacks the surface. What is it compatible with?

Latex condoms, glass, metal and ceramic. Not silicone toys – there the surface turns tacky and dull over time. If you still want to use a silicone toy with silicone gel, a condom over the toy solves it. Toys without that problem are under glass and ceramic dildos.

Is it good in water?

Yes, that is its second strength. In the shower, the bath or a pool a water-based gel washes off at once, while silicone gel stays put. Bear in mind that the tub and the tiles will be slippery afterwards – rinse them thoroughly.

How do you wash it off?

With warm water and soap, not with water alone. Otherwise a silky film stays on the skin, and bedding is best treated with detergent at a normal temperature. Using it sparingly pays off anyway: one drop usually covers what would take three top-ups with a water-based gel.

How much should you use?

Less than you think. Silicone gel goes considerably further than a water-based one – which is why the 30 ml bottle exists at all, a size that would barely last with a water gel. Start with a drop and add more if needed.
