Mixgliss – 25 lubricants on two different bases 💧

Mixgliss comes from France and makes lubricant – 25 varieties and sizes, plus a toy cleaner. The key difference is not the scent but the base: 21 are water-based, four silicone-based. That determines which toys they work with.

Neutral in four sizes 🌸

The natural water-based lubricant comes in 70 ml and 150 ml as well as a pack of twelve 4 ml single doses. Alongside these are the Max lubricant as single doses and the 100 ml toy cleaner – see sex toy cleaner.

With warmth, cold and scent 🍓

Two gels work with a noticeable effect: the cinnamon lubricant with a warming effect and the Cold lubricant with mint, which cools. Sorted by scent there are also strawberry – also as a single dose –, Green Citrus, Zen with white tea, bubble gum plus the 50 ml line with cherry blossom, lychee, rose, camellia, candy and beach. Four on a silicone base ⚠️

This is the group to watch out for: the natural silicone gel with 50 ml and with 100 ml, the Monoi silicone gel and the Monoi single doses. The old text warned about the Monoi only – the warning applies to all four. More of them under silicone lubricant.

Water or silicone – which fits when?

Water-based is the safe default: compatible with condoms and with every toy material, easy to wash off, but it does soak in over time. Silicone-based glides considerably longer, is waterproof and therefore usable in the shower – but it attacks silicone toys. A silicone toy always calls for a water-based gel. What do warming and cooling gels do?

They change the sensation wherever they sit – the cinnamon gel warms, the mint gel cools. Both react far more strongly on mucous membrane than on skin. So apply one drop to an uncomplicated spot first and wait before using more.

What are the single doses for?

For travelling and for trying things out. Four varieties come as a pack of twelve containing 4 ml each – enough for one use, small enough for a bag, and no worrying about a bottle leaking in your luggage.

Are the gels condom-safe?

The water-based ones yes, and the silicone-based ones too – latex condoms tolerate both. What they do not tolerate are oils and fats; massage oil therefore has no business near a condom. There is more in the drugstore.
