📏 On the sizing

Penthouse works in double sizes: S/M and L/XL are the standard, some teddies run as S/M/L, and a few items exist only in XL. The elastane content absorbs part of that span – on an S/M/L teddy that is a full 20 per cent.

Worth knowing when you browse: each size is its own listing, not a selectable variant. The same model in S/M and in L/XL appears twice, with the size at the end of the title. If you fall between two sizes, take the larger one – on anything that fastens at the crotch it gets uncomfortable quickly otherwise.

🧵 Material and care

Most pieces are 88 % nylon and 12 % elastane, the teddies partly 80 % polyester and 20 % elastane. Both are thin, stretchy and delicate.

Wash by hand or in a laundry bag at no more than 30 °C with a mild detergent, and dry the pieces flat in the air. Do not iron, do not bleach, do not dry clean – and no fabric softener, which attacks the elastane that holds the shape.

What is the difference between a babydoll and a teddy?

A babydoll is a short dress that falls loosely, usually with a separate thong. A teddy is a one-piece joining the top and briefs and sits close to the body. Babydoll means flowing, teddy means fitted.

And what is a bodystocking?

A sheer mesh or fine-knit piece covering the whole body from neck to feet – like tights that do not stop at the waist. Most have an opening at the crotch. Put it on the way you put on tights, gathered and over the heels, not with your fingernails.

Which size should I choose?

Start from your usual dress size and pick the double range it falls into. If you are right on the boundary, take the larger one. Lace and elastane do give, but the straps and the crotch get uncomfortable quickly otherwise.

What is in the Poison Cookie set?

Three pieces: dress, thong and a hairpiece. The set comes in black in L/XL and in white in S/M and L/XL.

Can I return lingerie?

The right of withdrawal applies as with any other order. For hygiene reasons, sealed items are excluded once the seal has been removed. So try lingerie on over your own underwear.

How is it delivered?

In neutral packaging with no indication of the contents, and the same goes for the entry on your bank statement. Shipping within Germany is free, with no minimum order value.
