Bio Sensitive from Hot is a vegan water-based lubricant, here in the compact tube that fits into a small bag too. It makes penetration easier during sex and manages with six ingredients: water, xanthan, carrageenan from red algae, aloe vera leaf juice powder, sodium benzoate and lactic acid. There is no glycerine, propylene glycol or fragrance in it, and it is suitable for daily use. Bio is the name of the range, Sensitive the name of the variety. The light green tube with blue stripes and a light blue flip-top cap is 100 per cent recyclable and carries the mark “Vegan Nature Pure”. The gel is made in Germany and carries the CE marking. Is it compatible with condoms and toys?

Yes. It is suitable for latex condoms, and as a water-based gel it suits toys of every material, silicone included. Lubricants that do not soak in at all are among the silicone lubricants; they often do not get on with silicone toys, though.

How do you apply it?

Put a suitable amount directly on the intimate area or on the condom once it is on. When it gets drier, add more or a few drops of water.

What should you bear in mind?

It contains no spermicidal agents and is therefore no substitute for a condom. If the skin reacts with irritation, you stop and rinse the gel off with water. The tube should be kept out of the reach of children.

How should the tube be stored?

Closed, dry and out of direct sunlight. Once opened, the gel keeps for three months, which is why the small tube is practical if you rarely need lubricant.

How does it come off again?

With water, from the skin as from laundry. Toys that came into contact with it are cleaned with warm water or a sex toy cleaner.
