The pump insert for the Hydromax 9 by Bathmate is an original accessory for the hydro pump. It reduces the opening of the cylinder and so improves the seal. A cylinder that is too wide does not seal, and without a seal no vacuum builds. The insert is a white tube with smooth walls, open at the top, with a grey ring that sticks out at the base as a flat collar, and it goes into the opening of the cylinder. It changes nothing about the basic rules of the pump. A pump creates negative pressure that draws blood into the tissue. Does the penis get permanently bigger?

No. The swelling is temporary and lasts minutes to hours. A permanent change is not possible with a pump, regardless of how long you pump.

How long may you pump?

Ten to fifteen minutes at a time, with breaks in between, and the pressure is always built up slowly. Pumping longer or harder risks burst capillaries, bruising and blisters on the skin, and such damage can be permanent.

What if it hurts?

Release immediately. With a pump, pain is not a sign of effect or progress but the signal that the pressure is too high. That is why a release valve is mandatory: without a way to release the pressure immediately at any time, a pump should not be used.

Do you need lubricant?
