🧽 Europharma – Action soft tampons
From Europharma we currently carry one item: the Action soft tampons in a pack of six. More items are under intimate hygiene.
🌊 What a soft tampon does differently
A soft tampon is not a compressed cotton wad with a string but a soft foam body with no string at all. It adapts to the shape rather than dictating it, and it sits flatter. That is exactly why it is used where a classic tampon would be in the way: during sex, when swimming, in the sauna.
🩸 Why it makes the difference on some days
With no string there is nothing to see and nothing to feel from the outside – neither for you nor for your partner. That is the one practical reason this design exists, and for many the reason nothing has to be cancelled during a period. What else helps is described in our article on sex during your period.
⚠️ Is this a contraceptive?
No. A soft tampon does not prevent pregnancy and does not protect against sexually transmitted infections. If either matters, you additionally need a condom. This point gets misunderstood regularly and is the most important one on this page.
How do I insert it?
With washed hands. Squeeze the foam between your fingers, insert it and push until you can no longer feel it. Moistening it a little makes it more pleasant – water is enough, or a little water-based lubricant.
How do I get it out again?
There is no retrieval string, so you grip it with two fingers. Squatting makes that easiest, because the vagina shortens in that position; bearing down gently brings it further along. It cannot get lost – the top is closed.
How long can it stay in?
Stick to the time given on the packaging and do not wear it overnight. If you get a sudden fever, nausea, vomiting or a rash during use, take it out immediately and seek medical advice. That applies to everything worn inside the vagina.
Can I use it more than once?
No. The pack of six contains six tampons for six uses. Washing out and reusing is out of the question with a product that absorbs body fluid.
Will my partner notice it?
As a rule not, if it sits correctly. If they do, it is sitting too far forward – then push it a little further and try again.
What do I do about dryness or burning?
Take it out and stop using it. Burning is not something you get used to. With sensitive mucous membranes it helps to work with a little lubricant and keep the wearing time short.
What else belongs with it?
A mild wash gel, a towel within reach and, just in case, a condom. More preparations and aids are under preparations and aids.
How do I know it is sitting correctly?
By the fact that you can no longer feel it – neither sitting down nor walking. A sensation of something foreign almost always means it is sitting too far forward. Then push it a little further rather than taking it out and starting over.
Can I swim with it?
That is one of the main reasons for this design. With no string nothing shows, and the foam holds back what should be held back. Afterwards the same rule applies as always: take it out, dispose of it, do not reuse it.
Is foam skin-friendly?
For most people yes, but mucous membrane reacts more sensitively than the skin on your arm. Anyone prone to irritation keeps the wearing time short and pays attention during the first use. With persistent burning, the product should not be used again.
How is it delivered?
Neutrally and discreetly. We ship in an unprinted box with no reference to the contents, and the sender details give nothing away either. Within Germany we deliver free of shipping costs, with no minimum order value.
